Principal Data Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Data & AI Platform Engineer to lead the design, development, and operationalization of scalable data infrastructure and DevSecOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the long-term DevSecOps vision for Snowflake, dbt, and Terraform infrastructure
• Architect scalable Snowflake environments, dbt transformation workflows, and reusable Terraform modules
• Build and deploy CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake, dbt Cloud, and web applications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced certifications preferred
• 10+ years of experience with DevOps architecture using Snowflake, dbt, Terraform, and modern web application deployment
• Expertise in CI/CD pipeline design using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, dbt Cloud, and Terraform Cloud
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation and provisioning
• Experience with managing containerization deployments on Azure and/or AWS
