Principal Data Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Data Scientist responsible for directing strategic development and solutioning in cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Leads cross-functional discussions to design end-to-end AI/ML solutions and solve business problems
• Coaches and mentors team members while promoting a culture of learning and engineering discipline
• Manages project scope, expectations, and timelines, presenting analytical solutions to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or other STEM field with 10+ years of experience in data science/analytics
• PhD in relevant fields preferred with 8+ years of experience in a predictive environment
• At least 10 years of experience with statistical modeling and AI/ML platforms
• Strong proficiency in Python with a focus on maintainable and well-documented code
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms for data science and machine learning workflows
