Job Summary
A company is looking for a Principal Fleet Motor Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support for medium and low voltage AC and VFD motor maintenance and life cycle management
- Oversee governance and performance monitoring of motor maintenance programs
- Collaborate with Maintenance and Engineering to resolve motor equipment issues
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, Controls, or Industrial Engineering preferred; alternative engineering degrees or Professional License (P.E.) with relevant experience may be considered
- Minimum of 5 years of motor experience, including 2 years in a nuclear generation facility
- Experience with various motor designs, maintenance practices, and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the position
- Experience with Vendor Factory Acceptance Testing and Performance testing
