Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Python Developer to lead a cross-functional team in enhancing customer experience and operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-velocity engineering team focused on P&L outcomes
• Deliver AI/NLP solutions to improve customer handling time and automate returns processes
• Scale prototypes into production-ready systems using automation tools

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong backend/systems background and full-stack experience (Python, React, Django)
• Applied NLP experience preferred
• Experience with CRM systems or B2C/eCommerce is helpful
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments with ambiguity
