Principal Solutions Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Solution Architect to provide technical leadership and direction in data engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide thought leadership and technical direction to the data engineering team
• Design and enforce standards for data storage, processing, and governance
• Develop and maintain an overall view of data platform architecture and data quality

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in big data and enterprise data architecture
• 5+ years of experience with enterprise data lake platforms and distributed processing frameworks
• 3+ years of experience implementing cloud-based systems, preferably AWS or Databricks
• Strong SQL skills for data governance and visualization tools
• Broad knowledge of data technologies and disciplines, including ETL/ELT and data modeling
