Procurement Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Procurement Lead to enhance operations and ensure compliance with procurement processes under government contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain purchasing policies to ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and CPSR requirements
• Serve as the Product Owner for the Procurement System, advising on contract requirements and streamlining procurement workflows
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contract terms to drive cost savings and improve procurement efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Extensive familiarity with Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) requirements
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain functions under federal government contracts
• B.S. or B.A. degree in business administration, management, finance, accounting, or related discipline preferred
• Knowledge of the proposal process related to federal business cycles and Requests for Proposals
• Experience modifying fields and creating workflows in Cobblestone is highly desirable
