Property Risk Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an AVP, Property Risk Engineer (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide support for a team of Property Risk Engineers
• Conduct on-site and virtual/phone surveys to assess property risks and summarize findings in internal reports
• Prepare and conduct presentations on emerging property topics while mentoring risk engineers

Required Qualifications

• Engineering or comparable degree/experience
• A minimum of 10 years of industry experience in a safety-related role, preferably in property and casualty insurance
• Possession of relevant professional designations or certifications such as PE, CFPS, CSP, or ARM is highly desirable
• Experience as a people leader and competency with NFPA and FM data sheets
• Ability to evaluate sprinkler system adequacy and calculate loss expectancies
