Public Trust Front-End Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Front-End Developer SME to join their team remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical authority on front-end architecture and accessibility compliance for IRS taxpayer-facing applications
• Guide the design and development of responsive, accessible, and user-friendly web interfaces using React, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and back-end engineers to define technical approaches for delivering scalable, reusable UI components

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of experience as a front-end developer, with at least 7+ years in a senior or SME-level role
• CompTIA Sec+ (or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification) is required
• Proven experience in Agile/Scrum environments delivering enterprise-scale web applications
• Strong knowledge of federal design and accessibility standards, including USWDS, ODG, and WCAG 2.2 AA
