QA Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a QA Engineer to support the Department of Veterans Affairs in a fast-paced SAFe Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute manual test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate system requirements
• Track, document, and report defects, ensuring issues are resolved and retested using JIRA
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to refine requirements and acceptance criteria

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of manual software testing experience
• Strong understanding of test design techniques and Agile/Scrum or SAFe processes
• Proficiency with JIRA for issue tracking and test management
• Familiarity with basic automation tools
