Quality Assurance Coding Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Quality Assurance Coding Consultant- Multispecialty.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance reviews/audits of internal coding staff and provide appropriate feedback
• Promote consistency and accuracy in coding practices through chart reviews and education
• Conduct onboarding and orientation quality reviews and provide ongoing education to staff

Required Qualifications

• Current AHIMA or AAPC coding certification(s)
• 3-4 years of experience in coding/auditing CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCs
• At least 3 years of experience in E/M and oncology coding
• Understanding of physiology, medical terminology, and disease processes
• Access to high-speed internet and a workstation
