Quality Control Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Quality Control Underwriter to perform in-depth file reviews on quality control audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Prefunding QC loan audits to ensure quality and risk standards are met
• Conduct risk evaluations and complex analysis on various loan products
• Document findings and communicate potential resolutions to relevant departments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience in mortgage underwriting
• 5+ years of experience in underwriting mortgage loans
• Knowledge of agency and investor guidelines
• DE, LAPP, and SAR certifications preferred
• Experience with Encompass LOS system is a plus
