Rating Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Rating Technician responsible for providing manual rates and analyzing health benefit plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide manual rates to the Sales and Underwriting teams for new business and renewals
• Offer initial quotes to ancillary requests within allowable limits
• Analyze health benefit plan characteristics and assess risks related to frequency and potential severity of losses

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
• 1+ years of experience in an administrative role organizing data, running manual calculations, and preparing documents
• Basic level of proficiency with MS Word and Excel
• Ability to work 8:00am-5:00pm CST
