R&D Strategist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an R&D Strategist to join their newly formed team.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the discovery process for R&D initiatives, from problem framing to hypothesis generation
• Partner with engineers to design quick prototypes and run experiments with real users
• Research markets, competitors, and customer behaviors to identify opportunities and whitespace

Required Qualifications

• Entrepreneurial experience as a past founder, co-founder, or early operator at a startup
• Experience building, launching, or iterating on software products
• Able to navigate ambiguity and create structure from scratch
• Sharp analytical and research skills
• Bonus: experience in product strategy, venture building, or innovation labs
