Registered Nurse Triage

Job Summary

A company is looking for a PRN Crisis Care Triage (RN).

Key Responsibilities

• Triages incoming catastrophic injury referral calls and gathers vital case details
• Identifies life-threatening emergencies and assigns appropriate Field Case Manager for onsite visits
• Maintains communication with clients and updates on injured worker status and FCM arrival times

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred; active unrestricted RN license required
• Six years of related experience, including three years of clinical practice or Field Case Management in Worker's Compensation
• Strong knowledge of nursing practice, triage ability, and field case management
• Ability to apply critical thinking under pressure
• Knowledge of the insurance industry and claims processing
