Job Summary
A company is looking for a Mortgage Closing Specialist II.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate communication among all parties involved in the loan closing process to ensure a seamless experience from CD preparation to final document issuance
- Collaborate with internal departments and external organizations to gather necessary documentation for closing
- Review loan files for compliance with State and Federal guidelines and validate fees for timely funding of loans
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree plus a minimum of 2 years of prior mortgage experience, or a combined 4 years of higher education and/or work experience with 2 years in mortgage
- Strong PC skills with knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, and email software
- Specialized knowledge of mortgage products, regulations, and policies
- Ability to make sound decisions based on provided information
- Notary Public certification
