Job Summary
A company is looking for a Registry Technician I to provide administrative and clerical support to Cancer Registry functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with screening and case ascertainment/case-finding processes
- Initiate and maintain follow-up and outcome information for cancer cases in accordance with requirements
- Prepare records for Cancer Committee, Tumor Boards, and quality reviews
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- High school graduate; associate or college degree preferred
- Courses in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Medical records experience preferred; experience in oncology is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office preferred
- Excellent office skills with knowledge of computers and software applications
