Reinsurance Accounting Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Reinsurance Accounting Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform monthly and quarterly closing procedures for reinsurance transactions, reconciliations, and analyses
• Develop and implement standard reinsurance accounting models and lead process improvements
• Act as a point of contact for reinsurance partners, managing billing and collection processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 1-3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience in a property & casualty insurance environment
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) eligibility or designation preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
