Remote Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accountant for a fully remote, 2-month contract position.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage transactions and financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and company policies
• Enforce and update accounting processes and procedures as business requirements change
• Carry out various financial procedures including payroll accounting, bank reconciliation, and month-end/year-end reconciliations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a progressively responsible accounting role
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
