Job Summary

A company is looking for an Academic Advising Specialist to provide guidance and support to undergraduate students in the College of Education.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide academic advising to students to assist with degree completion and career planning
• Monitor student progress and engage in proactive advising interventions
• Coordinate student events and collaborate with faculty and advisors to enhance student engagement

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Experience in a higher education student services setting or related advising experience
• Commitment to educational equity and supporting diverse populations
• Demonstrated computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to establish rapport and use social skills in various settings
