Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist I.

Key Responsibilities:

• Make calls to patients, hospitals, and insurance carriers to research claims and obtain information
• Document account activities in the claims processing system and follow up on unpaid claims
• Ensure compliance with company standards and state and federal guidelines while managing accounts

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of claims, billing, and collection experience
• Customer service experience required
• Prior collections or medical billing experience preferred
• Basic understanding of ICD10, HCPCS, and medical terminology preferred
