Key Responsibilities

• Verify patient eligibility and authorization for healthcare services
• Conduct research on unpaid or denied claims and contact payers for payment resolution
• Secure medical documentation and write appeal letters for technical appeals

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• At least two years of experience in healthcare insurance accounts receivable follow up
• Experience identifying billing errors and reviewing EOB and UB-04 forms
• Knowledge of accounts receivable practices and third-party payer billing procedures
• At least two years of experience with accounts receivable software
