Accounts Receivable Specialist Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist 3 (Lead).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform duties related to verifying eligibility, updating patient demographics, and researching unpaid or denied claims
• Contact payers to secure payment and maintain confidentiality of patient information
• Utilize reports for analysis, assist with special projects, and provide training for new hires

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of medical collections/billing experience
• Intermediate knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and NCCI
• Expert knowledge of third-party billing guidelines and billing claim forms (UB04/1500)
• Expert knowledge of payor contracts and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Intermediate working knowledge of health information systems
