Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an ASC Accounts Receivable Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize revenue collection through coding, claims submission, denials management, and payment reconciliation
• Identify and communicate revenue improvement opportunities with the Accounts Receivable leadership team
• Maintain professional relationships with payers and providers to enhance reimbursement rates and reduce denials

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 3+ years of experience in hospital billing and follow-up, preferably in dermatology
• High school diploma or equivalent educational experience
• 3+ years of remote working experience
• Understanding of healthcare management and patient accounts
• Insurance denial and appeals background
