Lead a team of actuaries: The Actuarial Manager will be responsible for managing a team of actuaries and providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure the team’s success.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams: This role requires working closely with other departments such as finance, operations, and sales to drive financial performance and profitability for Aetna’s pharmacy business.
Develop and implement strategies: The Actuarial Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve financial performance and profitability for Aetna’s pharmacy business.
Conduct data analysis: The Actuarial Manager will be responsible for analyzing large sets of data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in Aetna’s pharmacy business.
Provide financial insights: The Actuarial Manager will be responsible for providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management to drive business decisions.
Ensure compliance: The Actuarial Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company policies and procedures related to pharmacy performance and profitability.
Mentor and train team members: The Actuarial Manager will be responsible for mentoring and training team members to ensure their professional development and growth.
Stay updated on industry trends: The Actuarial Manager will be responsible for staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in pharmacy performance and profitability to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Drive cost-saving initiatives: The Actuarial Manager will be responsible for identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives to improve Aetna’s pharmacy business’s financial performance and profitability.
Communicate effectively: The Actuarial Manager will be responsible for effectively communicating complex data and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior management.
