Job Summary

A company is looking for a Broker Assistant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assists in the binding process of insurance policies, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory standards
  • Coordinates between underwriters and brokers, responding to inquiries and providing revised quotes as needed
  • Maintains organized records of binding transactions and prepares reports on policy binding metrics and compliance
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in the Insurance Industry or Binding Underwriting or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree required; Business Administration, Business Operations, or Sales preferred
  • Minimum requirements for state P&C and/or surplus line licenses
  • Preferred: Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC)
