A company is looking for a Broker Assistant.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists in the binding process of insurance policies, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory standards
- Coordinates between underwriters and brokers, responding to inquiries and providing revised quotes as needed
- Maintains organized records of binding transactions and prepares reports on policy binding metrics and compliance
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in the Insurance Industry or Binding Underwriting or a related field
- Bachelor's degree required; Business Administration, Business Operations, or Sales preferred
- Minimum requirements for state P&C and/or surplus line licenses
- Preferred: Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC)
