Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mortgage Senior Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Underwrite FHA, VA, and conventional mortgage loans in compliance with investor guidelines
• Perform risk assessments on credit and collateral to ensure loan saleability and quality
• Resolve post-closing issues and assist management in expediting loan closings

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or 2 years of relevant work experience plus 4-6 years of mortgage underwriting experience
• Direct Endorsement (DE) or LAPP approval preferred
• Full knowledge of credit risk and understanding of appraisals
• Thorough knowledge of DU/LP valuations and industry tools for saleability
• Understanding of conforming and non-conforming guidelines
