Application Migration Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Application Migration Specialist (Remote).

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform application assessment and planning, including dependency mapping and migration strategy development
• Coordinate and execute application migrations to target infrastructure while configuring necessary supporting services
• Develop and execute testing plans, monitor post-migration performance, and provide documentation and support

Required Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and understanding of database integration with applications
• Experience with IIS, service accounts, and application configuration files
• Ability to develop and execute test plans and troubleshoot post-migration issues
• 5+ years in IT roles with application support or migration experience
