Application Operations Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Application Operations Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage complex applications hosted on the cloud and support application maintenance activities
• Build proactive monitoring and alerting services while automating processes using scripting languages
• Collaborate with technical and operations teams to architect and implement solutions for customer infrastructure and application deployments

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in application support and management
• Hands-on experience with cloud services such as EC2, S3, and IAM
• Experience in a DevOps environment or infrastructure operations team
• Knowledge of operating systems (Windows or Linux) and database management (SQL, Oracle, or Postgres)
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Ansible, Python, or Perl
