Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Application Security Engineer to enhance its software development security posture.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert on application security to influence product design and development
• Assist in creating and maintaining risk assessments and threat models for the software platform
• Support application security testing processes, including automated and manual reviews

Required Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in application/product security
• Background in OWASP Top 10 application security defects
• Experience with modern software languages, primarily Kotlin and JavaScript
• B.A./B.S. in a related field or equivalent work experience
• Familiarity with application security testing processes such as SAST, SCA, and DAST
