Health Informatics Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Health Informatics Specialist II.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement clinical quality improvement activities with healthcare providers
• Assess EHR systems and recommend interventions to overcome barriers to quality improvement
• Lead physician offices through quality improvement activities and assist in using EHR for care management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant science or related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of electronic health records and health information technology standards
• General knowledge of data, databases, and networks
• Understanding of the healthcare marketplace and technology diffusion in physician offices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
