Job Summary
A company is looking for an Application Support Specialist to ensure the uninterrupted operation of critical software systems in the airline industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve production incidents, minimizing downtime and ensuring compliance with SLA and SLO targets
- Investigate, diagnose, and troubleshoot technical issues reported by airline staff or end-users
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems and assist in software deployments
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of overall experience in IT
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience in application support, preferably in the airline industry
- Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and incident management processes
- Basic knowledge of XML/Python scripting, APIs, CI/CD, GIT, and SQL
