Senior Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Staff Software Engineer (Application Security) to join their security team remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of application security tools and systems
• Conduct security assessments of applications and identify vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Required Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the US
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in application development or application security
• Strong knowledge of common application vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10, CWE)
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, Go)
