Associate Psychometrician

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Psychometrician / Research Scientist to provide psychometric support for educational assessments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide psychometric support to the Kaplan Test of English (KTE) and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Conduct psychometric analysis, including item analysis, IRT calibration, and test scaling
• Develop and maintain programming scripts for data processing and enhance psychometric workflows using AI and machine learning technologies

Required Qualifications

• PhD in statistics, psychometrics, educational measurement, or a related field
• Experience with large-scale educational assessment programs and CAT assessments
• Strong knowledge of classical and modern test theory and psychometric models
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python or SQL
• Familiarity with psychometric software and applying machine learning in educational research
