Backend JavaScript Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Backend JavaScript Engineer (Contract - 1099).

Key Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and development of scalable backend services using Node.js and AWS
• Integrate workflows using AWS Step Functions, Lambda, S3, and other cloud-native services
• Implement automation and decision-making logic using LLMs

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience (Node.js/JavaScript)
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
• Experience building on AWS using services like Lambda, S3, and Step Functions
• Familiarity with LLM-based integrations and prompt engineering is a plus
