Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer, Backend.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, scalable code for backend services using Node/NestJS and frontend experiences with React and TypeScript
• Develop reusable components and utilities, contributing clean, modular code for web and mobile applications
• Own the full software development lifecycle, from problem definition and design to development, testing, and supporting production code

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in building complex web or mobile applications, ideally with TypeScript, React, and Node/NestJS
• Strong understanding of service-specific integration testing, E2E testing, and selective unit tests
• Familiarity with AWS (ECS, Terraform) and best practices for deploying cloud-based applications
• Experience in low-structure, high-ownership environments, balancing immediate customer needs with long-term architecture planning
• Driven by a desire to make real-world impacts and collaborate with product managers and customers
