Billing Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Reimbursement Specialist II who will be responsible for the reconciliation of medical claims and revenue collection.

Key Responsibilities

• Increase cash flow and reduce bad debt through effective billing practices
• Manage appeals and denials based on payer guidelines in a timely manner
• Investigate denied services and take appropriate actions to resolve billing issues

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma at minimum required
• 2 years of experience in A/R, Billing, insurance, or healthcare; laboratory insurance billing preferred
• Working knowledge of coding systems such as CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and medical billing software
