Bridge CAD Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Structural Designer/Drafter with experience in CAD drafting plans for road or rail bridges.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering drawings for bridge plans, elevations, sections, and details from sketches and design information
• Collaborate with other Designer/Drafters and Engineers to ensure coordinated designs
• Manage the assembly and delivery of completed drawing sets within the bridge discipline

Required Qualifications

• Associate's or equivalent technical degree or certificate in designer/drafter course of study
• 6 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency with Bentley tools including MicroStation, ProjectWise, and OpenBridge Modeler
• Ability to interpret and ensure conformance to applicable standards such as AASHTO and state DOT CAD standards
