California Licensed Archaeological Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Archaeological Technician (REMOTE - ON CALL).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct archaeological monitoring, survey, testing, data recovery, and excavation
• Travel for fieldwork throughout Southern California as required
• Support various archaeological projects across multiple counties

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in Cultural Resources Management field archaeology
• Knowledge of federal and state laws applicable to archaeology
• Physically fit to work in field environments, including walking up to 5 miles and lifting up to 30 pounds
• A valid California driver's license and ability to travel throughout California
