Job Summary

A company is looking for an Auto Field Appraiser in the Fairfield, CA area.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and appraise damaged vehicles, documenting conditions and preparing written appraisals
• Negotiate repair prices with facilities and ensure adherence to claims procedures and guidelines
• Negotiate settlements in a timely manner and obtain necessary documentation to substantiate appraisals and settlements

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• 2 - 3 years of field appraiser experience or 3 - 5 years of auto repair/body shop experience required
• Strong customer service experience required
• Good computer skills are necessary
• Planning and organizing skills are essential
