California Licensed Scientist III

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Scientist III to join their Biologics bioanalysis, characterization, and proteomics group.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain LC/MS instruments to generate high-quality experimental data
• Perform affinity purification of therapeutic proteins from biological matrices
• Analyze data and maintain detailed study documentation in electronic laboratory notebooks

Required Qualifications

• Degree in chemistry, pharmacology, or related fields; BS with 5+ years or MS with 2+ years in a pharmaceutical industry setting
• Prior industry experience in drug discovery/development is preferred
• In-depth understanding of PK, TK, and PK/PD studies and corresponding bioanalytical assays is highly desired
• Hands-on experience with QQQ, qTOF, and/or Orbitrap mass spectrometers is highly desired
• Hands-on experience with automated liquid handling systems and oligonucleotide analysis is highly desired
