Job Summary
A company is looking for a Central Office (CO) Engineer to support the voice engineering team with technical support for network switch systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and execute voice network projects including switch re-homes and upgrades
- Perform proactive maintenance and manage requests related to billing collectors and project inputs
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure reliable voice services and track engineering work orders
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred
- 5 to 7 years of equivalent industry experience required
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a central office environment is required
- Proficient in reading, designing, and modifying MetaSolv Solution (M6) orders
- Knowledge of Adtran TA 5000 systems and Pseudo Wire technologies preferred
