Certified Cath Lab Coder

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Profee Cath Lab Medical Coder for a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign CPT and ICD-10 Codes for professional services while adhering to coding guidelines
• Analyze and correct CCI Edits and Medical Necessity Edits during coding
• Maintain coding knowledge and provide feedback to providers as needed

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or higher
• Professional coder certification from AHIMA and/or AAPC
• 2+ years of experience in Cath Lab coding
• 2+ years of experience with ICD-10
• Proficiency in using a PC in a Windows environment, including Microsoft Excel and EMR systems
