Job Summary
A company is looking for a Civil Hydrology Drainage Engineer II to support various state and Federal road and highway projects remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop engineering products that meet customer quality requirements, including defining problems and establishing work scope
- Design hydrology and drainage systems for road, highway, and bridge projects, including extensive culvert systems
- Produce detailed calculations, drawings, technical reports, and provide support for other engineering activities as needed
Required Qualifications:
- 4-year degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- 5 years or more of related work experience with road and highway drainage design, preferably with state DOT projects
- PE (Professional Engineer) license is desirable but not required
- Proficiency in CAD and other engineering software is required
- Experience with hydraulic modeling programs such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and Bentley StormCAD is a plus
