Key Responsibilities
- Handles and processes benefits claims submitted by healthcare providers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies
- Determines eligibility and coverage of benefits for claims based on insurance plans and guidelines
- Documents claim information, assigns appropriate codes, and conducts reviews of claims requiring additional scrutiny
Required Qualifications
- Less than 1 year work experience
- Working knowledge of problem solving and decision-making skills
- Experience in a production environment
- High School diploma or equivalent G.E.D
