Claims Refund Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Refund and COB Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify claims associated with refunds and log check details accurately
• Verify and update member records for Coordination of Benefits
• Ensure compliance with desk procedures and HIPAA/PHI guidelines

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; related experience may substitute for education
• 6 months to 1-year experience in managed care insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid
• Familiarity with insurance concepts such as co-pays and coordination of benefits
• Basic understanding of medical forms and medical terminology
