Claims Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Specialist (Insurance Biller) to manage and resolve insurance claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on claims that are rejected by the clearinghouse
• Review and address claims that have been put on hold
• Collect explanations of benefits for paid claims and complete credentialing with insurance companies

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Strong computer skills with a basic understanding of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
• Experience in a performance metrics-driven environment is preferred
• Ability to manage large volumes of work while meeting tight deadlines
• Prior experience in claims processing or billing is advantageous
