A company is looking for a Claims Specialist (Insurance Biller) to manage and resolve insurance claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on claims that are rejected by the clearinghouse
- Review and address claims that have been put on hold
- Collect explanations of benefits for paid claims and complete credentialing with insurance companies
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Strong computer skills with a basic understanding of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
- Experience in a performance metrics-driven environment is preferred
- Ability to manage large volumes of work while meeting tight deadlines
- Prior experience in claims processing or billing is advantageous
