Job Summary
A company is looking for a Clinical Pharmacogenomics (PGx) Pharmacist to support a Department of Defense pilot initiative integrating PGx testing into the Military Health System.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and apply PGx testing results to clinical decision-making across various therapeutic areas
- Support the integration of PGx data into Electronic Health Records and clinical workflows
- Serve as a subject matter expert for clinical consultations and provider education on PGx best practices
Qualifications:
- PharmD from an accredited institution
- Post-graduate training or certification in Clinical Pharmacogenomics
- At least 3 years of experience in clinical application of PGx in a healthcare setting
- Strong understanding of Clinical Pharmacogenetics Implementation Consortium (CPIC) guidelines
- Familiarity with EHR systems, especially within government or large health systems
