Collections Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collection Representative for Patient Billing Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage accounts receivable by reviewing and following up on outstanding balances
• Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and other parties to resolve billing issues and collect outstanding claims
• Investigate and resolve billing disputes by gathering documentation and coordinating with relevant departments

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Healthcare Management preferred
• 1-2 years of collections experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical billing processes and insurance claim submission
• Familiarity with insurance plans and government programs
• Ability to maintain accurate records of collections activities and communications
