A company is looking for a Commercial Lines Consultant to coordinate and execute underwriting projects and initiatives that drive profitability and corporate strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate strategic underwriting projects to optimize implemented solutions
- Collaborate with various teams to research and enhance insurance products and protocols
- Manage multi-phase, cross-functional projects focused on underwriting profitability and efficiency
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred
- CPCU or evidence of continuing education in the insurance industry is preferred
- Eight to ten years in the property and casualty industry, including three to five years in underwriting
- Department-level project management experience with formal project management methodology
- Comprehensive knowledge of the underwriting function and property and casualty industry
