Key Responsibilities
- Answer telephones and respond to pharmacy questions from providers
- Analyze pharmacy claims and provide verification of pharmacy benefits
- Process prior authorization requests and document records accurately
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of pharmacy claims and dispensing systems
- Connecticut Licensed (Active) Pharmacy Technician
- Pharmacy Technician Certification - National (preferred)
- Ability to work independently in a high-paced environment
- Proficiency in Medicaid & Medicare Part D and MS Office Suite
